Dr. Richard Schwahn, DVM, Owner
Dr. Schwahn joined the practice in 1999 and became a partner/owner in 2001. He took over full ownership in 2011, and in recognition of this new chapter in the life of the practice, changed the name to Altitude Veterinary Hospital, in the fall of 2012. The name is a reflection of the higher level of care that Dr Schwahn and his team strive to provide each day.
The team at Altitude values continuing education and trainings, to better provide the services sought after by our community. Dr. Schwahn’s special interests include TPLO’s (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) for cruciate tears, fracture repairs, and pain management.
