Katie Huber, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Huber developed her love of animals growing up on a small farm in western Nebraska. She completed her undergraduate education in Wyoming, starting at Eastern Wyoming College and finishing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 2009 and a Master’s in Public Health in 2010.
After graduation, she returned to Wyoming and spent seven years in mixed animal practice in Rawlins and Torrington before she and her husband moved to Casper to be close to family. She has served on the Wyoming Veterinary Medical Association board and was the Board President from 2015-2016. She has practiced in the Casper area since 2017 and is very excited to join the team at Altitude. Dr. Huber enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in orthopedics, multimodal pain management, and exotic animal medicine.
When she is not dedicating time to her clients and patients, she spends her time with her husband and two children. They are avid outdoor enthusiasts, enjoying bicycling, hiking, fishing, and spending as much time participating in the many recreational opportunities Casper and the surrounding areas have to offer. Her 3-pound chihuahua, Carlos, is always along for the ride; from kayaking to backpacking you can find him tagging along.
