Sarah Schoonover, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Schoonover grew up in Gillette, WY, and attended the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate education. There she played on the Women’s Rugby Team for 3 years. She attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine to receive her doctorate.
Sarah has been practicing in Casper since she graduated in 2013. She enjoys working with all types of companion animals but has a passion for exotic pets including reptiles. Sarah is a certified Fear Free practitioner who also has completed training in oral and periodontal surgery and pain management courses. She currently is pursuing further training in abdominal ultrasonography.
Sarah enjoys mountain biking, yoga, and pottery. Sarah and her husband Ryan have two children Silas and Layla who enjoy getting outside and up on Casper Mountain. She has two dogs Hattie and Rudy, and recently adopted an iguana named Moose.
