Nika Martin, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Nika Martin joined the team at Altitude Veterinary Hospital after completing her DVM at Washington State University in 2020. She was raised in Cheyenne and after being out of state for four years for her veterinary degree she couldn’t wait to move back to Wyoming. Sun, snow, and mountains are all she ever wanted!
Dr. Martin enjoys the human-animal bond and loves that she can help strengthen that bond every day through her work at Altitude. She became Fear Free certified to help animals and owners feel less stressed and anxious while seeking veterinary services. Dr. Martin has also pursued advanced dental training and is currently working towards further training in abdominal ultrasonography.
When free time allows, Dr Martin enjoys spending time outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, white water rafting and exploring the wonderful state of Wyoming with her now husband, Jake, and their newly adopted senior pet, Gabby.
